MDsim CEO Roger Assaker Joins SRS 59th Annual Meeting in Barcelona 

MDsim’s CEO, Roger Assaker, participated in the Scoliosis Research Society’s (SRS) 59th Annual Meeting, held from September 10 to 14, 2024, in Barcelona (Spain). This prestigious event brought together global leaders in spinal deformity research and care, providing a platform for sharing the latest advancements and fostering collaboration. 

During the meeting, Roger Assaker had the chance to connect with key members of MDsim’s medical advisory board, Mitsuru Yagi, an experienced orthopedic and spine surgeon, and Brice Ilharreborde, a spine surgeon specializing in pediatric scoliosis. Both experts provided valuable feedback on SPINEsim, MDsim’s software platform, which supports spine surgeons in planning surgeries through advanced digital twin technology. 

In addition to these valuable exchanges, the event was the perfect occasion for MDsim to truly engage with surgeons and experts, gaining a deeper understanding of the current needs in spine surgery.
